As I was reading this book, I kept thinking about how I search something and then all my commercials and ads aim toward that topic, or I mention something on the phone and it pops back up.
Well, the Recommendation takes it even further!
Another must read by Roy Robson!
I have read all works by Robson(s) and enjoy every single book. This series takes us to a new level of FACT VS FICTION being closely related.. A real mind blower.
Can’t wait for next installment of Roy’s works no matter what direction he takes. Always gives us much to consider about life.
THE RECOMMENDATION - An awesome novella about AI, which is scary in itself, knowing it will be weaponized, like everything else has been. Here, this is the beginning of AI and what it can do, good and bad. Help people. Handle AI recommendations rejections. Interesting story lines and characters. Harry has a mention, LOL. Thanks for writing your new AI novelette The Recommendation. I really enjoyed it — it’s such a fascinating concept, and I can see so many directions you could take it in (politics, sport, religion, sex, finance, and more).
As I was reading, I found myself thinking of Tales of the Unexpected and Inside No. 9. The start and middle sections really drew me in, and I was eager to see how it would wrap up. The ending left me wanting just a bit more — maybe a final twist or insight from Wisdom or another character — something that would make me say, “I didn’t see that coming!”
The length was spot on; I was able to read it in one sitting, which made it a very satisfying experience. I have a feeling your Dark Future series will carve a niche all of his own space that no one else can quite match.
